Slade Gorton re-branding ICYBAY

Slade Gorton & Co. will kick off a re-branding campaign to market and promote its expanding ICYBAY product line at the International Boston Seafood Show next week.

The Boston supplier will celebrate its campaign with the re-launch of 10 ICYBAY products.

Company President Kim Gorton said initial efforts will involve four of the company's best-selling products: salmon, shrimp, tilapia and squid. Another 10 to 15 seafood species will be added within the next year.

"We have spent more than a year developing tight specifications to ensure quality, wholesomeness and economic integrity. All ICYBAY products are guaranteed 100 percent net weight," Gorton said. Gorton added that ICYBAY-branded products are required to meet Slade Gorton's written specifications, have direct access to the resource, and originate from regularly inspected processing plants.

"For more than 100 years, Slade Gorton & Co.'s reputation has been built on quality and service. The ICYBAY brand will continue to build on that proud tradition," said Gorton, who is the third generation of her family to head the company.
