High Liner Foods has shifted up in the ranks for Sysco’s 2016 list, going from a Seafood Bronze supplier to Seafood Silver. High Liner sells its products throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico under popular brand names such as High Liner, Fisher Boy, Mirabel, Sea Cuisine and C. Wirthy & Co. In 2015, the company sold more than 200,000 pounds of seafood by sales volume. Major acquisitions made by the company in recent years include FPI Limited, Viking Seafoods and American Pride Seafoods, and Icelandic Group’s U.S. subsidiary and Asian procurement operations. High Liner is a publically traded company in Canada, trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange by way of the HLF symbol.
