Mark Foods, based in the heart of New York City, focuses on the import and distribution of premium seafood, with around 95 percent of its products being wild-caught. It is one of the leading U.S. suppliers of Chilean sea bass, or Patagonian toothfish. It also supplies North American lobster, New Zealand mussels, crab from Indonesia and octopus from Spain. The company places emphasis on the sustainability of its products, as it belongs to the Coalition of Legal Toothfish Operators and is the largest U.S. provider of Marine Stewardship Council-certified toothfish.
