22: Pacific American Fish Co. (PAFCO)
was established in 1977 by Joseph Huh, whose two sons (Peter and Paul) now run a company that offers more than 3,000 fresh and frozen products, from lobster tails and sockeye salmon fillets to fish roes and breaded shrimp packed for retail. Headquartered in Vernon, Calif., PAFCO also has facilities on Pier 45 in San Francisco and on the Boston waterfront. Its brands include Oceankist, Pacific Surf, Snak N’Go and Pete’s Seafood. (PAFCO’s 2013 sales were $241 million, ranked No. 23.)
