Trans-Ocean Products has partnered with Hellmann's to create a seafood salad kit for supermarket delis and seafood departments, the company announced Friday.
The salad kit contains four 2.5-pound packages of Crab & Shrimp Classic and two 1.5-pound pouches of Hellmann's mayonnaise and is designed for retail personnel to make seafood salads in-store.
Trans-Ocean sought out Hellmann's as a brand partner because of the strong consumer awareness of the name.
The salad kit is being produced at Trans-Ocean's plant in Bellingham, Wash. Trans-Ocean is handling all sales and marketing for the product.
