US company brings former Chicken of the Sea marketer on board

Harbor Seafood, Inc. is looking to continue ramping up its national and global expansion strategy – that’s why the U.S.-based company has hired Bogdan Serbu to take over as its Director of Marketing/Strategic Planning.

Serbu comes to the role having spent over 10 years working in the marketing departments for Empress International and Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods. Moreover, Serbu brings ample educational savvy to the position, having obtained a B.S. in Business Administration in Management, M.B.A in Marketing and a J.D. law degree.

As Director of Marketing/Strategic Planning, Serbu will be on hand for the planning and implementation at every phase when redeveloping Harbor’s brands and brand equity. Additionally, Serbu will “further expand the company’s marketing initiatives by developing and executing all development stages of packaging, marketing/sales collateral, advertising campaigns, website management, social media and tradeshows,” according to Harbor Seafood representatives.

Serbu is the latest in a string of hires by Harbor Seafood – the company just welcomed Lars Schweig as its director of retail/club sales and Jon Heinold as its Field Sales Director.
