From January through May this year, the top 20 Vietnam pangasius producers exported USD 433.1 million (EUR 328.9 million) according to the latest data from the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).
Vinh Hoan Corp remained the largest exporter, accounting for USD 74 million (EUR 56.2 million) of the sales, followed by Agifish with USD 55 million (EUR 41.8 million) and Hung Vuong Corp with USD 34 million (EUR 25.8 million).
In May, Vietnam’s pangasius exports went up by 15.7 percent compared to the same month in 2012, to USD 174 million (EUR 132 million).
