The Peruvian Ministry of Production (PRODUCE) has authorized a total limit of permissible capture (LMTCP) of anchovy and white anchovy for indirect human consumption of 382,000 metric tons (MT) for the first fishing season in the South region.
This fishery got underway on 2 February 2016 and will cease once the LMTCP is reached or by 30 June.
