Largest Seafood Expo North America ever opens its doors

Thousands of seafood professionals will congregate in Boston, Massachusetts at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center starting today, 19 March, for the largest Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America event to take place in the show’s 37-year history.

The 2017 Seafood Expo North America, which is produced by Diversified Communications, will feature 1,348 companies coming from 53 countries exhibiting across 253,660 net square feet of exhibit space – an increase of 86 companies and 236 booths over last year’s show metrics.

“It is so exciting to see every inch of the convention center being used for this event,” said Wynter Courmont, event director for Diversified Communications. “With so many participating companies, attendees will have a lot to see and many opportunities to reach their business goals at this year’s exposition.”

Apart from the record-breaking exhibit hall presence, this year’s exposition also features more than 25 conference sessions, a series of master classes and chef demonstrations, the 11th annual oyster shucking competition and the Seafood Excellence Awards competition for Best New Retail Product and Best New Foodservice Product.
