Before joining the SeafoodSource team, Bhavana worked for DownEast magazine as an editorial intern, as well as a columnist and business manager for UMaine’s student award-winning newspaper, the Maine Campus.

Norwegian salmon prices remained relatively flat week-over-week in the seventh week of 2024 after inching up over the past few weeks following a significant jump.

Puyallup, Washington, U.S.A.-based seafood importer and distributor Wheeler Seafood has debuted offerings of Sealand Advanced Aquaculture's Patagonia king salmon.

Norwegian salmon prices increased in the sixth week of 2024.

According to the Nasdaq Salmon Index, the average per-kilogram price of Norwegian salmon in the sixth week of 2024 reached NOK 109.03 (USD 10.30, EUR 9.60) from last week’s 106.37 (USD 10.04, EUR 9.32), marking an increase of NOK 2.66 (USD 0.25, EUR 0.23), or 2.5 percent, week over week.
