Known for their aphrodisiacal qualities, many restaurants are menuing oysters for Valentine’s Day. For example, Loch Fyne, with dozens of locations in the U.K., is offering a three-course meal on Valentine’s Day that includes a starter of three oysters. Meanwhile, the new LakeHouse restaurant in the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Fla., is featuring a unique oysters appetizer, Oysters Poke, which features chilled Blue Point oysters topped with tuna poke. “The flavor and texture of the poke on top of the oyster marry well together,” said David Didzunas, executive chef at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress.
