GAA takes magazine digital

The Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) has announced it is taking its bi-monthly Advocate magazine digital, with the release of a brand-new website on 1 October.

The November-December 2015 issue will be the last print version of the magazine, which has been in print since 1998.

The new website will contain weekly updates and come with weekly and monthly e-newsletters covering trends and news in the aquaculture industry. There will also be multimedia offerings, including infographics, charts and videos.

Longtime Advocate Editor Darryl Jory will remain on the website staff as editor emeritus, and James Wright, former senior editor with SeafoodSource, will be the site’s editorial manager.

Visitors will have limited free access to the site’s articles, and GAA members will have full access.
