Soren Dalsager has been named the executive vice president of global sales at tilapia producer Regal Springs Group.
Dalsager will lead Regal Springs’ global sales team, provide strategic direction and build and maintain relationships with key clients. He takes over the role from Magdalena Wallhoff, who remains a principal at the company.
“Soren is a good cultural fit for us. He will lead our sales team in continued international growth,” Wallhoff said. “We believe that Soren will be instrumental in achieving our goals.”
The Regal Springs Group, founded in 1988, raises tilapia without the use of chemicals, growth hormones and antibiotics in lakes in Indonesia, Honduras and Mexico.
Previously, Dalsager co-founded Everfish International and Yutai Seafood and served as president and CEO of Royal Greenland U.S. According to a press release, Soren has experience in sales, management, production and quality control.
