The farmed fish feed producer’s new business unit managing director has worked for the company for 25 years.
Fish feed producer Skretting on Friday announced Viggo Halseth has been appointed managing director of Skretting’s northern Europe and Australia business unit, effective 1 June.
Halseth formerly served as managing director of Skretting’s trout and marine business group. He has worked for the company for 25 years, holding several senior positions, including managing director of Skretting ARC, executive VP and marketing director of Skretting Norway, marketing director of Skretting worldwide, and product manager and technical salesman for Skretting Norway.
Halseth succeeds Knut Nesse, who was appointed executive VP and a member of Nutreco’s executive board, where he is responsible for Nutreco’s aquaculture division.
