Jacksonville, Florida, U.S.A.-based seafood distributor BSF has extended its contract with cold storage provider Lineage for another two years, continuing the two companies’ 25-year relationship.

"Lineage is a company we consider family, not just a vendor," BSF CEO Mark Frisch said in a release. "Lineage has grown with us for 25 years, building facilities around our business and standing with us through every challenge, including helping us recover a load of stolen crab earlier this year. As we rebrand and expand the company, we needed a partner we could trust to grow with us, and that's exactly what we have in Lineage."

Under the contract extension, Novi, Michigan, U.S.A.-based Lineage will continue managing BSF’s warehousing and distribution operations. According to a release, Lineage has two facilities fully dedicated to BSF’s needs and currently stores more than 800 cooked and raw seafood SKUs for the company.

The renewed agreement continues that relationship through 30 June 2028.

"BSF is one of the clearest examples of what our partnership model is built to do," Lineage Chief Commercial Officer Tim Smith said in a release. "They process and distribute frozen seafood out of their Jacksonville facility and rely on us to help them meet multi-week inventory requirements by retailers and foodservice operators across a national footprint covering all 48 contiguous states. Extending this agreement through 2028 reflects the trust BSF has placed in Lineage, and we don't take that lightly."

BSF rebranded from Beaver Street Fisheries in February 2026 to highlight its growing global sourcing and national distribution. The company’s international sourcing network enables it to import products from more than 52 countries.
