Jacksonville, Florida, U.S.A.-based Beaver Street Fisheries has rebranded as BSF in a move to highlight its global sourcing and national distribution.

"This is not a rebrand for the sake of vanity," BSF Executive Vice President Mark Frisch said in a release. "It's a recognition of how many of our customers already know us and the strong relationships we've built across the industry. BSF better reflects the full scope of who we are today as a global importer, distributor, and supply chain partner."

Its previous brand identity, the company said, implied it was still a primarily local operation. However, BSF said it has grown from a regional seafood wholesaler in Florida to national distribution with an international sourcing network, importing products from suppliers in more than 52 countries.

"When customers are making careful seafood sourcing decisions, perception matters," Frisch said. "If a company cannot communicate capabilities, sourcing expertise, and operational competence, it can create barriers."

The rebrand was done in collaboration with advertising agency In Food Marketing & Design. At the same time, the BSF selected Axia Public Relations to elevate its new branding with key audiences.

BSF said it is debuting the rebrand ahead of the 2026 Seafood Expo North America, taking place in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A., from 15 to 17 March. The company said its intent is to strategically introduce its “evolution directly to industry stakeholders in a forum where sourcing strategy, scale, and long-term partnerships are central to the conversation.”

"The seafood market is full of noise," Frisch said. "Our responsibility is to help customers navigate it with confidence. We do not complicate the industry. We help customers operate within it more effectively."
