AquaMaof hires Guy Alon to head customer service division

Israel-based AquaMaof – which specializes in recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) technology for land-based aquaculture – has announced the hire of Guy Alon to the position of division manager for its customer service and support division.

Alon, AquaMaof said, is a “prominent figure” in the Israeli aquaculture industry, and brings with him almost 30 years of experience in the field. Alon will bring that experience to managing the company’s cross-organizational customer service processes, creating new customer success methodologies, and leading the division’s growing team.

“We are delighted to welcome on board Guy Alon, one of the top managers in Israel in the field of aquaculture,” AquaMaof CEO David Hazut said. “Guy will take on the important role of leading the operations relating to what is a core value for the company, encompassing the entire spectrum of AquaMaof’s operations – customer success. In all our customer dealings, from the first contact, until the installation and operation of an advanced RAS facility, our primary goal is the success of our customer. We wish Guy every success in this important task.”

Alon previously worked in a senior position at DagOn - Ma’agan Michael – a “world-class fish breeding center,” where he served as CEO since 2011.

“I am happy to join AquaMaof in these exciting times of company growth and a range of projects under development,” Alon said. “I look forward to contributing my experience to help expand the company’s customer service offerings, as part of the company's vision and strategy to continue investing resources in this area, and advancing it to even higher professional levels.”
