The head of Guangdong Haid, a producer of feed for the aquaculture sector, has been named one of China’s “most respected chairmen” by one of the country’s most-read business newspapers.
Xue Hua was one of five executives named by the 21st Century Business Herald to its annual list of the country’s top business leaders. The awards are given for corporate transformation and good management as well as “contribution to China’s capital markets” – a nod to good corporate governance.
With a market capitalization of CNY 36.6 billion (USD 5.7 billion, EUR 4.6 billion), Guangdong Haid is battling with the Tongwei Group, which has a market capitalization CNY 49.7 billion (USD 7.2 billion, EUR 5.9 billion), for the title of top feed supply company in China.
