SeaWeb and Diversified Business Communications on Wednesday announced a partnership in which Diversified will serve as the industry media sponsor of the 10th International Seafood Summit in Hong Kong in early September.
The Seafood Summit is organized by SeaWeb’s Seafood Choices program, with the goal of fostering dialogue and partnerships that lead to a seafood marketplace that is environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.
The theme of this year’s Seafood Summit is “Evolving Solutions for New Horizons.” It will be held at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong from 6 to 8 September.
As part of the partnership, SeafoodSource.com, which is published by Diversified, will serve as the primary news source for the Seafood Summit.
Following the three-day event is the Diversified-produced Asian Seafood Exposition, which will be held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre from 11 to 13 September. In its third year, the show features companies from more than 20 countries selling seafood into the Asian market. Diversified also produces the European Seafood Exposition, International Boston Seafood Show and Seafood Barcelona and published SeaFood Business magazine.
