Kwik’Pak Fisheries has become the latest Alaska company to get Responsible Fisheries Management (RFM) chain of custody certification, according to an announcement from the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI).
This chain of custody certification, according to ASMI, allows seafood buyers and their customers to trace their seafood to an Alaska fishery that meets the RFM standard.
Kwik'Pak is now part of a group of similarly-certified companies with chain of custody, which includes Triad Fisheries, Glacier Fish Co., Seafood Producers Cooperative, Icicle Seafoods, Ocean Beauty Seafoods, Canadian Fishing Co. and Peter Pan Seafoods.
