Scottish smokehouse announces recall

Loch Duart smokehouse is recalling a batch of its own Oak Smoked Salmon because Listeria monocytogenes has been detected in the product and may pose a health risk.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said the recall was a precautionary measure and involved products with the batch code 31702 with “use by” dates between 28 August 2013 and 9 September 2013.
