In early January, Lombardi’s cost for 21/25s farmed shrimp from Central America was USD 4.40 (EUR 3.95) to USD 4.75 (EUR 4.27) per pound, versus US 6 (EUR 5.39) or more per pound a year-and-a-half ago.
