Bonefish Grill and McCormick & Schmick’s are among the chains that earned top marks in Consumers Reports’ latest Restaurant Satisfaction Survey, released on Monday.
Both Bonefish and McCormick & Schmick’s are among the dozen chains diners prefer when eating out for a special occasion. Additionally, Bonefish was one of the 21 chains receiving top marks for food.
The report also gives consumers tips on dining out for less, including eating at the bar, where McCormick’s offers tuna rolls for less than USD 4 (EUR 2.79), among other lower-priced menu items.
The report also mentioned that Legal Sea Foods offers a free pound of shrimp cocktail via an e-mail promotion, and that Red Lobster offers crab and shrimp specials on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.
The Consumer Reports’ National Research Center gathered responses from 70,403 subscribers who made 158,744 visits to 101 chains between April 2007 and 2008. Diners were asked about overall restaurant satisfaction, and to rate the quality of food, value, service, mood and choice.
