Launched on Tuesday, EastCoastGourmet.com features the Lowell, Mass., company’s own line of seafood products, ranging from Nantucket Lobster Chowder (two 20-ounce boilable pouches for USD 39) to Baltimore Surf & Turf (8-ounce filet mignon with two crab cakes for USD 64) to Maine Event Lobster Pie (two pies each with 8 ounces of lobster meat for USD 68).
Gift certificates, recipes and cooking tips can also be found on the Web site, in addition to a Design Your Own Lobster Dinner, where patrons can pick among a variety of items to create a three-course seafood dinner. For example, patrons can choose New England Clam Chowder as the starter, Filet Mignon as the entrée and Apple-Blueberry Crumb Pie as the dessert.
What’s more, the site features a Fresh Seafood Blog and Seafood-Lobster Forum, in which customers can share their favorite recipes and cooking tips.
