In brief: Fish City promotes heart health

February is the American Heart Association’s American Heart Month, and Neighborhood Ventures, which operates Fish City Grill and Half Shells, is recognizing the occasion by promoting its heart-healthy menu items.

All of the Dallas-based company’s Heart Healthy Selections — Blackened Rainbow Trout, Catfish Dinner, Shrimp Dinner, Fish City Sandwich and Chicken Breast Dinner, available through 13 February — are certified by Medical City Hospital in Dallas. Fish City Gill operates 23 restaurants, most of which are located in Texas. The others are found in Arkansas, Colorado, Florida and Oklahoma. There are two Half Shells restaurants in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

Morpol issues unsecured bond 

Morpol ASA announced on Tuesday that it has issued a NOK 500 million (USD 85.4 million, EUR 64 million) unsecured bond in Norway, the net proceeds of which will be used for general corporate purposes. The settlement date is 3 February and the maturity date is three years from now.

Last week, the Poland-based salmon processor made its first acquisition in Norway by agreeing to buy a 100 percent stake in Jøkelfjord Laks AS, a Norwegian farmed salmon company valued at NOK 490 million.
