Legal Sea Foods’ Airport Concept Recognized

Legal C Bar at Boston’s Logan International Airport was recognized as one of the top 10 airport restaurants by The National, an English newspaper published in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.

Opened in Terminal B by Boston-based Legal Sea Foods in late 2007, Legal C Bar is the only U.S. restaurant included on the list.

The article praised Legal C for creating “an airport-friendly menu” with a wide variety of items, including New England Lobster Bake; Shellfish Castle, a tower of chilled raw shellfish; Blackened Raw Tuna Sashimi with seaweed salad and wasabi; Crispy Montauk Calamari; and Legal’s Signature Crab Cake.

For travelers looking for a quick bite, a clock symbol is positioned alongside menu items that can be prepared and served quickly.

The menu also features a selection of red and white wines, beer and Liquid Cs, signature cocktails with a contemporary twist, including the Legal Sangria, the French Canadian and Gimlet Classique.

“Legal C Bar is an important part of the lineup of quality restaurants at the Airmall, and this international recognition is well deserved,” said Mike Caro, VP of Airmall developer BAA Boston. “Logan International Airport is surrounded on three sides by Boston Harbor, so it is fitting that Legal C offer travelers the freshest, most well-prepared seafood available.”

Legal Sea Foods operates 35 seafood restaurants on the East Coast.
