Maristella’s line enters foodservice market

Maristella’s Fine Foods of Boston on Thursday announced that its line of all-natural Sicillian Arborio rice seafood arancinis is now available to foodservice operators.

The line is made with Italian Arborio rice harvested from the Po Valley in Northern Italy combined with seafood, herbs and a three cheese blend of Pecorino Romano, Parmesan and mozzarella.

The arancinis are available in five varieties: Wild Caught Blue Crab with Gorgonzola Cheese and Applewood Smoked Bacon Arancini’s, Wild Alaskan Smoked Salmon with White Wine and Capers Arancini’s, Wild Caught Scallops with Applewood Smoked Bacon Arancini’s, Wild Caught North Atlantic Lobster with Sherry Cream Sauce Arancini’s, and Wild Caught Shrimp with All Natural Pesto Arancini’s.

Sized to fit multiple price points, the line is ideal for menu applications such as small plates and bar menus. All five flavors are available in 10-pound bulk cases and can be purchased either breaded fried or breaded un-fried.

“We know that foodservice operators are looking for new, exciting and innovated products for their customers. We believe that Maristella’s is ready to meet that challenge and deliver high quality, high profit margin products at a low cost to the operators,” said Robby Brandano, president and CEO of Maristella’s.
