Red Lobster, Applebee’s highlight new shrimp specials

Red Lobster is expanding its Endless Shrimp for a limited time.

Red Lobster and Applebee’s both recently unveiled new menu specials centered around shrimp.

Red Lobster is expanding its “guest-favorite” Endless Shrimp for a limited time. The Orlando, Florida, U.S.A.-based restaurant chain’s Ultimate Endless Shrimp invites guests to mix and match Red Lobster's numerous shrimp dishes, and then order additional shrimp dishes one at a time.

Applebee‘s has also announced a new deal where customers can add an order of one dozen Double Crunch Shrimp to any steak entrée for USD 1.00 (EUR 0.86) The shrimp is battered, fried golden brown and served with cocktail sauce.

At Red Lobster, available shrimp dishes include: Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp Scampi, and Grilled Shrimp Skewer.

"Our guests have been loving our Ultimate Endless Shrimp offer on Mondays, but they've also been telling us they are craving it other days of the week," Red Lobster Vice President of Marketing Deanna Kotch said in a press release. "Endless Shrimp is a truly epic event that many of our guests have made a tradition this time of year, every year – and now we're going to give them what they want – with Ultimate Endless Shrimp all day, every day for a limited time.”
