Salmon, prawns set sights on Gold Q

Thirteen seafood products are among the 100-plus retail food products shortlisted for the United Kingdom’s 30th annual Quality Food Awards. The awards ceremony will be held at The Hurlingham Club in London on 1 December.

There are 26 categories and an overall winner, which receives the Gold Q award. Last year, a seafood product captured the Gold Q: Ugo Foods Group’s Del’Ugo 6 Handcrafted Crab & Crayfish Raviolo.

The products are judged by a panel of about 50 food experts, who look at each product’s taste, flavor, texture, aroma, ingredients list, innovation, packaging, presentation and price point.
