Saucy Fish launches TV, social media campaign

The Saucy Fish Co. has launched an 11-week TV and online advertising campaign. The GBP 2.5 million (USD 3.77 million; EUR 3.19 million) campaign highlights every day occasions to enjoy fish more often.

The colorful animated messages, which capture a week in the life of a “Saucy couple” and their mischievous pet cat, were designed in collaboration with the brand’s new website that launched in October.

“The creation of our new website provided a good opportunity to evolve The Saucy Fish Co. brand and provide a consistent experience and story across TV and online,” said Amanda Webb, sales director. “The new creative is a better reflection of our more mature brand, and it works hard to deliver our strategy to increase frequency and occasion.”

The Neighbourhood devised, produced and directed The Saucy Fish Co.’s fourth national television campaign, working as creative partners with Amaze, which launched The Saucy Fish Co. brand back in 2009 and is also its lead communications agency.

The new creative aims to maintain the brand’s approachable and playful personality an encourage shoppers to explore the brand’s expanding product range.

The TV commercial will run for four weeks starting 5 January featuring King Prawn, Squid & Chorizo Foil Bake Bag in a Sherry and Herb Sauce, followed by a shortened featuring Salmon with Chili, Lime and Ginger.
