Skuna Bay Salmon, Euclid Fish partner

Beginning Monday, Skuna Bay Salmon will be available in western Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Euclid Fish Co., a Cleveland-based seafood wholesaler, will exclusively distribute the salmon to restaurants in the Pittsburgh, Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Louisville areas. The company joins other exclusive Skuna Bay distributors Santa Monica Seafood and Fortune Fish.

Skuna Bay salmon also available in the Southwest and Midwest and can be found at more than 225 high-end restaurants in 14 states, including California, Arizona, Nevada, Florida, Michigan, Illinois and Missouri.

Just last week, the craft-raised salmon producer announced a partnership with Seattle Fish Co. to distribute the fish to restaurants in Colorado and throughout the western United States.

And, earlier this week, four more of the company’s farms earned the Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Best Aquaculture Practices certification.

Skuna Bay, which is owned by Grieg Seafood, raises salmon in a pristine, environmentally sound manner and processes and handles the fish with extreme care. The company also has a partnership with Aquarium of the Pacific’s Seafood for the Future program.
