WOW Café & Wingery LTO Features Shrimp, Catfish Po'boys

Two seafood po'boys are among the three lunch items WOW Café & Wingery added to its menu late last week as part of n limited time offer that runs through the end of Lent.

The New Orleans-inspired items, the Shrimp Po'boy, Catfish Po'boy and Mardi Gras Mambo Wrap start at $5.99. The Shrimp and Catfish Po'boys are dressed with lettuce and mayonnaise and served on French bread, while the Mardi Gras Mambo Wrap is made with chicken and red beans.

"Our goal for the new lunch menu is to offer items that are New Orleans inspired, globally desired entrées at a competitive price point," says Co-President and CEO Paul Ballard, who founded WOW Café & Wingery with brothers Steven and Scott.

The first WOW Café & Wingery restaurant opened in Covington, La., in 2001. Now there are more than 50 locations in 20 U.S. states, from Burlington, Vt., to Corona, Calif.

WOW Café & Wingery has three store formats: a 500- to 1,000-square-foot quick-service design (typically found on college campuses and at shopping malls), an 1,800- to 2,500-square-foot, 60- to 70-seat café with a bar and a 2,800- to 3,200-square-foot, 120-seat full-service restaurant with a bar.
