The U.S. Department of Commerce’s agency of Enforcement and Compliance, under the International Trade Administration, announced on 13 September that it is rescinding the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on certain frozen warmwater shrimp from Thailand.
On 9 February, the Department of Commerce published a notice in the federal register of the opportunity to request a review of the antidumping duty order on certain frozen warmwater shrimp from Thailand, which is effective from 1 February, 2018, through 31 January, 2019. The department received requests for a review, however, later on, all parties withdrew their former requests.
As a result, the department has rescinded its administrative review, according to a release from the Department of Commerce.
The initial antidumping duty order scope, which was established in 2007, still stands, which includes species of warmwater shrimp, whether wild-caught or farm-raised.
