Spanish company Angulas Aguinaga has formed a partnership with Norway’s Marine Harvest, and plans to launch a new range of frozen salmon products by way of the union.
The new range will fall under the joint Olav’s branding and will focus on the premium sector, according to ABC. Development of the products will occur in a newly-built, state-of-the-art 1,500 square meter plant in Burgos.
Angulas Aguinaga utilizes three other brands to market its products: Krissia, La Gula de Norte and Angulas Aguinaga.
The partnership with Marine Harvest, one of the world’s largest producers of farmed salmon, is representative Angulas Aguinaga’s long-term strategy to meet growing market demand across distribution platforms.
