Export Packers Co. Ltd. (EPCL) of Ontario, Canada, last week announced the opening of its U.S. division, EPCL USA.
Seafood industry veteran Christa Ingalls will lead the implementation of the company. Before joining EPCL USA, she was the director of the global seafood program and sales manager for Phillips Foods in Baltimore. Ingalls also led the seafood program at Avendra as seafood commodity manager, a role in which she sourced and negotiated with numerous seafood manufacturers and distributors throughout North America.
EPCL is a privately owned Canadian company with offices across Canada, where the company distributes its Ocean Jewel seafood brand.
