Exports up, value down for Norway salmon

In line with a trend throughout the month of September, Norway's salmon export value declined last week while export volume increased.

From 24 September to 30 September, the export price of fresh salmon from Norway came to NOK 23.99 per kilo, a 7.8 percent decline from the previous week.

Exports were up to 18,459 metric tons (MT) compared to 18,359 MT in the previous week.

Norway exported 864 MT of frozen salmon at NOK 29.30 per kilogram, down from 902 MT valued at NOK 29.83 (EUR 4.02; USD 5.26) per kilogram the previous week.
