Leroy Seafood Group ASA announced that it has sold its Chilean company, Pacific Seafood SA, along with all production rights (licenses) for salmon in Chile.
The licenses in question were acquired by LSG in the spring of 2007, as part of the acquisition of Veststar Holding AS.
This transaction will be recognized on the company's consolidated accounts as a gain on sales totaling USD 9.5 million.
