New CEO at Peru’s Camposol

One of Peru’s largest largest shrimp exporters has appointed a new CEO.

Camposol Chairman Samuel Dyer Coriat has assumed the role of CEO and executive chairman, replacing Fabio Matarazzo di Licosa, who announced his resignation as CEO on Monday.

Coriat has broad experience in the Peruvian fishing industry, occupying various positions in Copeinca. He has been on the Camposol board since 2008 and became its chairman this year.

“Fabio’s leadership in the past two years guided the company toward a new direction, which will position Camposol to become a significant global player in the branded quality agricultural products,” said Coriat. “The board wishes him the best in his future endeavors and has decided to invite him to join as a member, an offer that he has gladly accepted. We are sure that in his new role, Fabio will continue to serve Camposol wish his insights with special emphasis on marketing and sales.”

In addition to shrimp, Camposol is one of Peru’s largest exporters of agricultural products such as asparagus, peppers, avocados, mangos and grapes.
