Pescanova USA announced today that the company’s U.S. co-president, Rafael Bru, has resigned as of 5 July.
Bru served both as co-president and COO of the Spanish company’s U.S. branch, which is based in Coral Gables, Fla.
Jose Abbad, the division’s other co-president and CMO, will remain as president of Pescanova USA.
According to a statement from Abbad, Bru is resigning for “personal reasons,” and collaborated with Abbad on a transition plan to handle Bru’s departure.
The company offered no further details on Bru or his resignation.
