Phillips Seafood Restaurants opened a new location at the Legacy Hotel & Meeting Centre in Rockville, Md., on Saturday. The new location marks the launch of a new partnership between Phillips and the Cohen Cos., owners of the Legacy Hotel.
The restaurant, which is the second Phillips Seafood Restaurant in the greater Washington, D.C., area, can accommodate 188 guests in the dining room and 38 in the bar and is described as a "polished, casually elegant dining experience."
The menu features Phillips' famous Jumbo Crab Cakes, Seafood Platters and Clam Bakes for Two in the "Phillips Signatures" section. A wide range of dishes is covered, from King Crab Macaroni & Cheese to Roasted Snapper flavored by oven-cured tomatoes and fragrant garlic shallots.
The interior design is highlighted by dark mahogany, creamy linen walls and shimmering mosaic tiles. The location features a live lobster tank with 3- to 10-pound lobsters. The seasonal menu changes weekly.
