Red Lobster's LaDuke to Appear on 'Star'

Michael LaDuke, head seafood chef and recipe expert for Red Lobster, will appear on June 22 as a guest judge on season four of the Food Network show "The Next Food Network Star."

LaDuke and Iron Chef Michael Symon, owner of restaurants Lola and Lolita, will select the winner in a special seafood-themed challenge. Through Aug. 31, the winning recipe will be featured on a "chef's creations" menu insert at all 680 Red Lobster restaurants, marking the first time the restaurant has ever promoted a TV show.

The appearance presents a beneficial sponsorship opportunity for the casual-dining seafood chain, which will run 30-second T.V. spots during the episode and throughout the show season.

"The Next Food Network Star" is the Food Network's top-rated show, with the season-three finale last July drawing a record 3.57 million viewers.
