American Seafoods is one of the largest seafood companies in the United States. Based out of Seattle, Washington with a major operations center in Dutch Harbor, Alaska, it owns and operates six state-of-the-art catcher processor operating in Alaska and off the U.S. Pacific Northwest coast, where the company is a major quota holder of Alaska pollock and Pacific whiting. It sells its frozen-at-sea whitefish across global markets in various formats ranging from fillet block, surimi, roe, and fish oil, as well as yellowfin sole and headed and gutted Pacific cod. American Seafoods also has sales offices in Asia and Europe.
