Eastern Fish is one of the leading importers of shrimp into the United States, bringing in more than 72 million pounds of shrimp annually, both wild-caught and farm-raised, from 13 different countries. In addition to shrimp, the company also imports and sells sea and bay scallops, king and snow crab, lobster, squid, and finfish under its Sail brand. The company was purchased by Japanese conglomerate Marubeni Corp. in 2014 and now operates offices in Thailand, Ecuador, China, Florida, Massachusetts, California, and Seattle, Washington, in addition to an international sales office in Belgium. In addition to its Sail-branded products, the company also offers private-label services, meeting specifications of retail customers through its extensive sourcing network.
