Bar Masa, in Las Vegas, is an offshoot of chef Masa Takayama’s signature New York City sushi restaurant, Kappo Masa. At both locations, you can find the Masa toro tartare caviar, a combination of delicate, fatty bluefin tuna, or toro, tartare topped with a generous dollop of osetra caviar. The indulgence runs USD 60 (EUR 56), but if you want to up the superfluity, Bar Masa’s sushi version of the dish, the toro roll with caviar, will set you back USD 240 (EUR 225), making it one of the most expensive dishes served in any U.S. restaurant.
