East Coast Seafood has built itself into one of the top 25 largest seafood suppliers in North America through reliance on one of the East Coast’s signature seafood species: the North American lobster. The company operates processing facilities in Maine and Massachusetts and is believed to be the largest exporter of lobster in North America. In 2012, the company expanded its offerings through the purchase of scallop supplier Seatrade International, and with a joint venture with another live lobster supplier, Garbo Lobster.
