Norwegian feed and salmon farming firm Cermaq appointed Deputy COO of Feed Einar Wathne as COO of feed unit Ewos.
Wathne has been with Ewos since 1986. He holds a PhD in fish nutrition and has worked as a researcher and later in various management positions in Ewos. He has been deputy COO of feed since 2006.
“We have been through a broad recruitment process and it is a pleasure to conclude that Einar Wathne is the best person to lead Ewos going forward,” said Jon Hindar, Cermaq CEO. “He has both tremendous experience and knowledge of the organization and the industry, and with his professional background he can further develop Exos in a good way.”
