5.) Fish density – Many governments already regulate density, but farmers understand the need to avoid stuffing pens with too many fish. The lower the density, the better. How far apart the pens are matters, as well. In Chile, for example, government regulations mandate pens exist in small clusters with plenty of space between the clusters.
