Bornstein Seafood introduced a new tuna product March 8 at Seafood Expo North America.
The company, headquartered in Bellingham, Wash., gave out samples of its “Wild North Pacific Smoked Albacore Tuna” on the showroom floor in Boston from March 6 to 8.
Bornstein’s smoked tuna is all natural, MSC-certified and harvested hook-and-line, according to a press release from the company. It is offered in both club and retail pack options as well as for food service.
Bornstein offers products purchased directly from the fishers in Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and California and processes them in company-owned plants in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia.
