Diversified Business Communications, producer of The International Boston Seafood Show and Seafood Processing America, will be rebranding both shows with new names and logos starting in 2014.
The shows will now be called Seafood Expo North America and Seafood Processing North America. The name change is part of a 2014 global rebranding and marketing initiative. Diversified Business Communications will rebrand its entire portfolio of seafood expositions including the European Seafood Exposition, Seafood Processing Europe, Asian Seafood Exposition and Seafood Barcelona.
Specifically, the 2014 exposition name changes will include the following: The European Seafood Exposition and Seafood Processing Europe will be rebranded Seafood Expo International and Seafood Processing International; the Asian Seafood Exposition will be rebranded Seafood Expo Asia; and Seafood Barcelona will be rebranded Seafood Expo Southern Europe.
“Under their fresh, new names, Seafood Expo North America and Seafood Processing North America will continue to deliver the highest quality trade event for seafood buyers and suppliers from around the world who want to do business in the U.S. and North America,” said Liz Plizga, show director for Diversified Business Communications.
“We’re excited to unveil this unified and instantly recognizable branding for Seafood Expo North America and for all of our events serving the global seafood industry,” said Mary Larkin, group VP, Diversified Business Communications, and publisher of SeafoodSource.com and SeaFood Business magazine.
Next year’s Seafood Expo North America and Seafood Processing North America is scheduled for 16-18 March 2014 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. More information is also available on the exposition’s newly-designed website, seafoodexpo.com.
