Finalists announced for 2025 Seafood Excellence Global Awards

40 finalists have been selected for the 2025 Seafood Excellence Global Awards, taking place at Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global in Barcelona, Spain from 6 to 8 May 2025.

The annual competition recognizes the best seafood products presented at the Expo this year. The finalists in this year’s competition represent 15 countries and will compete for two grand prizes: Best Hotel/Restaurant/Catering (HORECA) Product and Best Retail Product. Four additional awards will also recognize innovation, convenience, retail packaging, and seafood product line.

The winners will be announced during a reception on the first day of the Expo, Tuesday, 6 May, at the Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue.

In addition to the Seafood Excellence Global Awards, the Seafood Excellence Awards are held annually at Seafood Expo North America in Boston and the Seafood Excellence Asia Awards are held annually at Seafood Expo Asia in Singapore. All three awards are organized by Diversified, producer of Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global, Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America and Seafood Expo Asia.
